Corridor, based on the renowned strategy board game Quoridor, is a captivating game of strategic thinking that takes place on a 9x9 grid composed of 81 square spaces. Each player assumes the role of a pawn, commencing at the central space of one edge of the board. In two-player matches, the pawns are positioned opposite one another.

The objective of Corridor is to outmaneuver your opponent and be the first player to guide your pawn to any space on the opposing side of the board from where it initially started.

The defining feature that sets Corridor apart is its ingenious system of walls. These walls, measuring two spaces in width, can be positioned within the grooves that separate the spaces on the board. By strategically placing walls, players can effectively block their opponent's progress while navigating their own path through the labyrinthine layout. It's essential to plan your moves carefully and anticipate your adversary's next steps.

At the beginning of each game, the twenty walls are divided equally between the players and become permanent fixtures on the board once placed. They cannot be subsequently relocated or removed, adding an extra layer of complexity and strategic decision-making to each turn. In addition to moving their pawn, players have the option to place a wall if the situation allows for it.
